To show you the fun I had with the composing of my robot

and to improve my programming skills with a new language, I created this interactive flash.
Unfortunately the pixel bender filters and the blend modes do not exactly match the ones in photoshop. But they work satisfying.

Maxwell Render!
Only this awesome program can render many individual light sources which you can edit later separately (e.g. in Photoshop).
Try the demo - its a great render engine for still images.

I want to add. I've found a program called Blender. It's free and you can do just about anything with it. It allows you to make videos and games with it. It's completely 3d. There are tutorial videos. If you want the links let me know.

I already know Blender.

Unfortunately these kind of realistic renders are (almost) impossible to make in Blender.

Concerning flash Blender is more interesting for augmented reality. You can build 3d objects in Blender, export them in the collada format (.dae)and import them in flash (flash builder) by the use of special AR-developers kits to make your own augemented reality stuff.
